• January 1997, A Passion for Paper, in the Providence Journal Bulletin (Rhode Island), detailed the entrepreneurial origins of her paper business. She lectures frequently on the history of papermaking and is a wealth of information on the subject.
• The November 2002 issue of Departures magazine (American Express publication) features an article on The Art of Japanese Paper. Lauren is quoted extensively as she was one of the resources for the article.
• In 2005, her local non-profit community service center interviewed Lauren about Paper Connection in a Japanese E-article.
• Lauren's latest article entitled The Unique Functions of Washi in Japanese Daily Life was published in the most recent summer issue of Hand Papermaking magazine; July 2007.
