| Lokta paper is prepared in the age old technique of traditional Nepalese artistery. It is prepared from the fibrous bark of the Daphne Cannabina which grows at high altitudes in the Himalayas. Lokta paper is strong and impervious to insects.
These papers are handmade and hand-dyed in Nepal and are subject to slight variation in color and thickness making each piece unique. |
