These papers are made in the area of Fukui Prefecture (Echizen), Japan. They are watermarked and textured. The subtle patterns and light hues make them perfect for weddings. They are printable and therefore great for such projects as invitations. These papers are created by forming one opaque layer followed by a thin layer of mitsumata fiber to which a soldered metal screen is applied while it is still wet. |
